Don't solicit the help of any ordinary landscaper for your pond needs. Most are not aware of the full ecosystem within a pond creating large-scale problems.

Before discussing with a professional, a customer should consider what they would like most about having a water feature. Whether it's the sound of running water, raising and keeping koi, or even wanting a more natural looking water garden with aquatic plants and frogs. These questions create the foundation on which the design of a new water feature can be built. For instance, if a customer wishes to have many aquatic plants and large koi......that could prove quite problematic. Large koi can sometimes be very destructive towards some of the more sensitive aquatic plants.
