FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally, I go by what the customer has the budget for, for my prints the prices are fixed but otherwise, I try to be flexible. Ideally, I try to breakdown their budget into working hours that include everything from communication, photo sessions, post processing, printing services, and travel expenses so that everybody's need are met.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to work backwards from the end product that a customer wants. If they want certain type of photoshoot from there, I will determine how much time we will need, what locations they would like to try out, when they want to have the photoshoot, and see if they would like to meet in person to go over and select final shots to produce prints from.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self taught in photography with years of practice working with and volunteering for nonprofits and other organizations. Over the years, I have acquired many best practices that have improved my work. I have taken a few courses to establish a foundation of knowledge on photography and continue to read to improve on that skill set.
