- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A $25-50 on-location fee is charged for traveling to the client. Same-day appointments (appointments made with 24-hours of service date and time) will he charged a $100 fee. Early morning premiums fees are charged for appointments made before 8 am and start at $150.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to speak with my client over the phone first to make sure we are a good match to work with one another! From there, we can discuss what your ideal look will be. I typically ask for an inspiration pic. I’ll ask what is it about the pic that you absolutely love so that I know what to focus on during the application. For example, a client may show a pic of a beautiful eye shadow application with dramatic brow shaping, but only really likes the shadows more than the brows. It’s important to know what a client’s style of makeup is before beginning the application. I also ask tons of questions about what the client is comfortable with and if makeup is only worn daily or only during special occasions.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in the beauty industry as an employee of Sephora where I was introduced to the wonderful world of beauty! I instantly feel in love with learning about beauty trends and techniques from all the major brands. There, I developed a love for skincare, therefore when a client works with me, I educate him/her on the importance of taking care of one’s skin prior to the makeup application. This essential first step is of very high importance to me.
