Rachel D. Gaines Marketing Manager, Brighter Strategies I worked with Lisa when she so graciously volunteered to assist with the 2014 Nonprofit Capacity Conference. Lisa interacted with our many senior level nonprofit leaders, sponsors, staff, speakers, and other volunteers throughout the day and was always professional, organized, reliable, and a wonderful smiling face to have onsite. Lisa was proficient at helping run our busy check-in desk and always had a cheerful "let's get it done" attitude when any other need for help arose at the conference site. Thank you Lisa and Simply Your Events for the excellent management you provided for Anointed Affairs on the Corner Womans Annual Convention. You stepped into this project in midstream, only months before the planned execution with no prior familiarity with the organization. You did a remarkably good job which everyone from the staff and leadership has complimented. We also agree that the work you and your staff performed made this one of the smoothest run conventions we can remember. Lisa Horton did a great job at helping my wife and I plan our wedding. She was extremely resourceful, bringing in experts for design and decorations of our ceremony and reception venues that meant everything for my wife. She also worked closely with the photographer and caterer to ensure we were meeting our very shoe string budget. With her help, we were able to get significant discounts, including a free venue. Our wedding turned out memorable and excellent, and she did all of this remotely from DC while my wife and I were in Denver, CO. She is reliable, detail oriented, and a stickler for scheduling. 5 stars

From start to finish Lisa has esperience from small to big tasks involving the weddings/events. She takes all random ideas and turn them into one cohesive and beautiful wedding. Her weekly phone conversations allowed us to stay in constant contact as well as e-mails in the meanwhile. I could not have asked for more and I would definitely recommend her services to anyone planning an event!
