FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
While in-home training for aggressive and reactive dogs is expensive, I offer payment plans to make it more accessible. Generally, working with me ranges between $300-$2700, depending on how much training needs to be done.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with an evaluation where I take a thorough history and get a better understanding of my client's goals. I meet the dog, and decide the best path forward to meeting those goals. Then, my client and I decide what program is going to be the best fit for them based on that path.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background in psychology, though my work in starting young horses has been more helpful. I'm a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, and a Certified Behavior Adjustment Training Instructor. Each year, I pick a new educational goal- this year (2026), I've already completed it, which was deepening my knowledge of behavior analysis by studying under Dr. Susan Friedman. I am also a pre-veterinary student, and while I am used to working in shelters as a behavior consultant, learning more about the medical side of things has been incredibly helpful in my casework.
