Introduction: We offer lead-based paint inspection for rental units at tenant turnover. The state of Maryland requires this inspection for all rental units built prior to 1950. D&J Inspection Services is licensed by the state of Maryland as an inspection contractor and employees’ state of Maryland licensed lead inspectors. We provide a quick turnaround at reasonable rates. At first contact, you will be provided information on how your property should be prepared for the inspection. D&J Inspection Services also performs testing and sampling services for mold and asbestos. We are not affiliated with remediation firms for mold or asbestos. You are our client, and we are not in the business to sell you services that may not be necessary. We are in business to provide you information enabling you to make an informed decision. If remediation is recommended, we also perform clearance testing once remediation has been completed, to assure proper clean-up standards were followed. We have Maryland licenses and certifications in lead-based paint, mold and asbestos. We are Virginia-licensed lead risk assessor. Buyer, beware! Virginia does not currently require licensing for mold inspectors; please make sure your inspector is qualified!
