About
I am a 3rd generation plumber and I had worked for Magnolia Plumbing for 30 years prior to going out on my own. My grandfather and father both have plumbing businesses so you would say it's in my blood. I pride myself in giving the very best service to all my customers and give them a great rate within there budget. I've worked in the service field for over 35 years and I've also taken pride in educating myself in all aspects of the plumbing field from residential to commercial. I've done large commercial jobs and for the past 15 years I've been working with a contractor doing bathroom and kitchen renovation. I work in the entire Washington, Maryland and Virginia areas. I have a satellite office in Gaithersburg so no job is to far. Thank you for your time and look forward to doing business with you It's what my passion is and I was raised by a family company and was taught to take care of a customer 100 percent at a very fair rate. With no mistakes or corners cut. I also love a challenge and new thing being introduced to my profession. I also get satisfaction by taking care of people the way a service provider is supposed to.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. We hired Brian to check on what I thought was a small problem. I was wrong, we had a big problem. Both toilets were clogged severely, requiring lots of elbow grease and heavy machinery. Turns out both toilets were connected to one pipe. Brian met the challenge head on and when all said and done, we now have full function of both bathrooms to include a new toilet. We believe the cause was debris from a recent bathroom remodel. Brian also evaluated the water pressure in all our sinks and showers, adjusting them all to the correct Maryland requirements. In addition to that he installed a pressure regulator valve to assist with the “water hammering” we had been experiencing. Brian is very thorough and explained everything he was doing and how. So we learned quite a bit at the same time. I highly recommend Brian Rogers Services. We are very thankful for his patience and professionalism!!!!

Details: No, repair is not urgent • Only one drain has issues • Gurgling sounds • Clogging • Other issue • Townhouse

I am writing to share the great experience i had with Brian. He was on time, we spoke and looked at what my problems were. He fixed the leak under my sink and in the bathroom in no time. and had my water heater out and replaced much faster than what i expected, and also for a great price overall. Brian is experienced in his craft and someone that you can trust, i would highly recommend him.

This is an update to my review last week: Brian and I worked things out. It turns out he was in the hospital and unfortunately his phone got misplaced. When he finally called, we worked out a solution, he spent half the day today plumbing like crazy to make things right. It was an incredibly hard and complex job but he fixed things and got them flowing and gave me some good advice. Thanks also for throwing in clearing out the main water line that was blocked, a hugely expensive repair that any other plumber would have charged a fortune for. Thank you Brian. ************************************************************ Who is Brian Rogers? I really did not want to post this review. Brian said he was proud of his family owned business and would take care of us on a very difficult renovation project 45 minutes from us. He reached out immediately, was very responsive, energetic and raring to go to help us although he doesn't listen well and talked over us. Once he took our 50% deposit (a big mistake and he was rigid about it) the follow through has been quite disturbing. To be clear, this project (2 buildings or units) is large and complex and had other prior incompetent hands in the mix and we needed him to assess and correct making all bathrooms and kitchens and wet bars functional with all correct drain and supply lines installed properly and all fixtures installed. He said the prior work was "very bad" (not necessarily confirmed by other contractors but there was some) in 8 bathrooms, 4 kitchens, and 2 wet bars plus an outside trench with gas and water line. He told us that he would be there all of last week and needed us to be there hand in hand working along with him, that there was "a lot to do and needed his and our total focus!!" We cleared our very busy schedules for the whole of last week to be there with him and asked him repeatedly for a proposal which he never sent. We arrived on Monday morning where he was in a big rush to hurry and scribble out a proposal not on professional stationery with any identifying information that we now wonder was his way of not giving us any time to review it and we fell for it, handed him a check for $2,500 and he promptly said he was off to an important job at the Watergate!! but not to worry!! he would be back and have all of the first house functioning in short order!! I don't know how much time he actually spent working or what he did other than the main water line because we have not been afforded the opportunity to talk with him or walk unit 1 with him. Will he be honest about what he did or make the project into a big deal that he should have charged a lot more for but gave us a huge break??? I don't know since he has given us no reason to trust his word. The last time he called me was this past Friday when he said that the work would actually only take 2 maybe 3 hours (down from all week???) and that he would work and finish everything on unit 1 by Saturday night Memorial Day weekend when it was quiet. I've now texted, called and emailed him for 3 straight days with no response, and sent him this email and said I would be forced to post on Thumbtack if I didn't hear from him. This is a highly time sensitive project that needed to be finished at least in unit 1 with all the other trades waiting on him before they can complete. We had high expectations seeing all the 5 star reviews so this has been disturbing. When he called about a bad tooth mid- week to beg off working, I had a sinking feeling. Who is Brian Rogers? Where are you Brian??? Are you sick, in the hospital? Or worse? Will you blame us? Will we ever find out, will you refund our money and cancel our contract to maintain your reputation? I certainly hope you will do at least that. I wish you no ill will, I wish for your success but your failure to keep your word on multiple fronts is serious and you need to apologize and make amends, or ultimately, the only person it will really hurt in your dark night of the soul, is you.
