I needed 710 sq ft of my original hardwood (red oak) floors to be refinished. My house was built in the 1940s so these floors really needed some TLC, not to mention that I had an unprofessional painter borderline ruin them with paint, primer and joint compound smeared all over the floors. Aaron spent almost 45 minutes at my house taking detailed measurements for an estimate and really getting to know me and understanding what my experience had been thus far with my fixer upper. He also didn't try to scam me (as another estimator did) and tell me that because of the condition or age of the floors they were ruined and they would have to up-charge me etc etc. This is important because it speaks to his character as a business owner and what type of customer service he believes in. My experience was seamless until the end, just as it begun. Aaron was very responsive via text message and phone throughout the process. His phone often goes to voicemail, but he calls you back within the hour and leaves voicemails/texts, so it is not an issue at all. Aaron and his team even go the extra mile. On the day the work begun I realized I had not moved out the 200+ bricks sitting in my living room. I quickly began moving them as they started the work, but had to stop to go to my office when there were still at least 100 bricks left inside. His team removed them at no extra cost and with no huffing and puffing. Additionally, there were two small spaces (about 1 sq foot) in my closets that needed hardwood installed, he also provided that service at no additional charge. Outside of all these pieces of my experience, AG Construction had the most competitive prices I've seen and left me with beautiful floors! I highly recommend AG Construction and plan to refer them to any family and friends needing hardwood flooring work.
