Makimanta Landscaping Services has more than six years of experience offering our clients a customizable package of landscape and lawn care options, including lawn mowing, fertilizing, over seeding, garden maintenance, and leaf blowing. Our goal is to provide hassle-free landscaping, so our clients can relax and know that we will take good care of their lawn and garden.
We also offer one-time clean-up services, where we will clear all overgrowth, trim, edge, and apply mulch in the color determined by the client.
In addition, we have full-time and experienced employees that work installing wooden fences and also hardscapes. We have pictures available of past projects completed.
We are licensed and insured and have references available. From design to implementation and then maintenance, our company is proud of the services we provide.
I enjoy meeting one on one with clients and designing a customized proposal to meet their needs.

We hired Makimanta to re-do a patio (pavers) that a prior contractor constructed poorly. Israel and his team were professionals, who showed up on time, were friendly and worked hard to get the job done quickly. We wanted the pavers set a certain way and Israel accommodated our request even though it took a little more time. I would hire Israel again.

Israel and his team created a fantastic side garden for our rowhouse that matched precisely our needs and stated interests, along with detailed care instructions. Moreover, they went above and beyond the project -- replanting a drooping fence, stacking bricks better than they were before -- that have made the entire front look better for it. I cannot recommend Makimanta enough.

Makimanta did a superb job installing sod on my newly bulldozed backyard. Preparation of the ground is all-important and they did an excellent job pulverizing chunks of dirt and removing rocks and roots. Then they spread a layer of rich, dark topsoil before laying down the fresh sod. Finally, they watered the new grass thoroughly to give it the best chance of thriving. Excellent attention to detail! They truly deserve my 5-star rating! I'm hiring them for more jobs. It was a real pleasure working with Israel.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are customized for each client. We start the relationship with a free estimate, so that we can fully understand your needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We reach out via Thumbtack when a client submits a request in order to set up a free estimate at their conveniance. After the meeting with Israel (the owner), we send a personalized proposal within 36 hours. If the client accepts, we sign a contract and collect 1/3 of the payment as a deposit. The job is then performed within 10 days, and the client is invoiced for the remainder.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our employees have a combined 30 years of experience in the field, from cutting grass to installing different types of landscapes.
