Event to be filmed
Concert / performance,
We had hired Andrew for our 3 day indian wedding. We had the mehndi ceremony, nikah (wedding ceremony) and reception all in 3 days. I have to give him props on surviving the weekend and working hard on capturing all the major moments of that weekend. There were a couple of things we would of liked more footage of that he may of missed. The mehndi we wish that he could of caught more dancing footage of the open dance floor. The nikah we had hired a separate videographer for the woman's section in our Mosque (the men and woman are separated for the wedding ceremony) but the woman he had hired did not capture any of the bride's reaction throughout the actually ceremony, now this may have not been Andrew's fault but just a flaw I thought I would mention. The reception he did a great job at setting up a slow motion video booth for the guests, that was a very unique and different touch to our wedding ceremony and a huge hit! Andrew did an average job at capturing the footage for our wedding weekend. The editing is what we had to go back and forth on for a couple of months. We felt as though the editing was just clips of what he captures and thrown into a video, we felt like there was not that much editing done. For our highlight video it seemed as though he had pulled the first, middle and last sections of each event and composed a 25 minute highlight video. We thought highlight videos were suppose to be 10 minutes or less, something quick just to sum up our wedding, we had guests complain that the highlight video was too long. Although in our eyes we thought Andrew could of done a better job at editing out videos, we had emailed him and asked him if he could re do some of the edits and kindly he did until we were happy with the final product. All and all I would recommend Andrew, just be very clear from the beginning what kind of work to expect during the wedding and the editing after the wedding.Oct 28, 2015VerifiedDanglinn Productions's reply
Hey Jibran. I'm sorry you were not completely satisfied with your Wedding video experience. Communication between the Videographer and client is vital to the satisfaction of the Bride and Groom with the final product. I was unaware you were unsatisfied with the highlight video and the length of it. If you would like it shortened I'd be happy to do so. Concerning your critiques... I stayed an extra 15 minutes passed the time I was scheduled, and asked if I could leave which you agreed to and that's why there was not as much footage of the dancing. I recorded all the dancing till that point. For the ceremony you asked me to hire a female videographer to film the bride getting ready, you did not express that she was to film the ceremony until the day of, plus it would be hard for any videographer to get footage of the brides reactions as her face was pressed up against a fence surrounded by at least 20 other women. Lastly, for $1700 you received 3 days of videography, 3 full length edits, 2 assistant videographers, 1 highlight video, a SlowMo Video Booth (free of charge), 3 DVDs, Blu Ray copies of all events and several re-edits which in the contract you signed stated that re-edits come with a charge but I did not charge as I wanted to make sure you were satisfied with the product. Thanks for your review.
I would highly recommend Danglinn Productions for your wedding videography needs! Andrew was extremely professional and very responsive to all of my emails and telephone calls. He was able to accommodate all of my requests to provide exactly what I was hoping for in our wedding video! The actual videographers were Ryan Deal and his wife, Amber, both of which were extremely friendly and professional. They arrived early, stayed late, and were there to capture every single wedding detail that I could've hoped for. They had never shot video at the Naval Academy before, but still captured every important detail and feature of the Chapel like they had filmed there a million times. I didn't even realize they were there half the time so it was a huge treat to watch the video and see all of the amazing details and moments they caught on tape. Andrew Linn did the editing and produced the actual wedding video and highlight clip. His work was absolutely impeccable!! He included all of the important moments and events with perfect transitions between everything. I couldn't be more pleased with the final product and am so happy to be able to watch the videos and relive the best day of my life forever!!Nov 20, 2014Verified

Wedding and Event Videography
Andrew provided videotaping services for an event where I was speaking. He is very professional in his communication and when providing services. He thought about all of the details and explained them to me so that I could be prepared. I will definitely use him again if I am in the MD area and have recommended him to a colleague.Nov 17, 2015Verified
