FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for an established studio with weekly lessons. The most important aspect of music lessons is a continual outlet for progression. Ask for professional references, including students/student parents, music colleagues, school colleagues, and/or past teachers. Does the teacher care about the individual needs of students? Does the teacher tailor instruction for each age group? How does the teacher get results from students? Does the teacher simply have students play pieces or is he/she teaching other skills (such as practicing, studying, focusing, reading, verbal and written communication...) through music? These are all things to keep in mind.
