- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process begins with listening carefully to the customer's electrical needs and understanding their goals. Whether it's a new installation, troubleshooting an issue, or upgrading existing systems, I prioritize understanding their specific requirements. Next, I conduct a thorough assessment of the electrical system or project site. This involves examining existing wiring, fixtures, and assessing any safety concerns or code compliance issues. Based on my assessment, I develop a detailed proposal outlining the recommended electrical solutions. This includes cost estimates, timeline projections, and a breakdown of the work involved to ensure transparency. Throughout the project, I maintain clear and open communication with the customer. I keep them informed of progress, any unexpected findings, and ensure they are involved in decision-making processes. During the execution phase, I prioritize safety and quality workmanship. I adhere strictly to electrical codes and standards to ensure the reliability and longevity of the installation or repair.Upon completion of the work, I conduct a final inspection and walkthrough with the customer. I ensure they are satisfied with the results and address any final adjustments or concerns they may have.I value customer feedback as it helps me continuously improve my service delivery. Building a trusted relationship with each customer is important to me, ensuring they feel confident in my work and rely on me for future electrical needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have accumulated significant experience and training in the field of electrical work. I began my career in 2015 as a helper at a small mom's and pop's electrical company, where I spent five years gaining hands-on experience in various electrical projects. During my time there, I had the opportunity to attend the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) School in Laurel, MD, participating in their rigorous Electrical Apprenticeship Program. I successfully completed all required coursework and examinations, obtaining my license as a certified electrician. This combination of practical experience and formal education has equipped me with a solid foundation in electrical systems, codes, and safety practices. I continue to stay updated with industry standards and advancements, ensuring that I deliver high-quality work and adhere to the latest safety regulations.
