Not enough can be said about someone that shows up when they say they will. Oscar showed up for an estimate exactly when he said he would, and then when hired for the job showed up exactly as agreed upon. Very efficient with the job (spreading base rock and compacting) and at a very decent price. It would have cost me just as much to rent the equipment and then I'd still have had to spend hours doing the work. I'd be happy to hire him again for a project in the future.

Oscar did a great job on my frenchdrain and driveway extension project. He is flexible and able to accomplish what i needed on my drainage problems. He is also makes sure that we meet halfway with regards to pricing. I will definitely hire him again on my future projects.

What can I say? Oscar Ramirez, owner of Michapa Design LLC, is a wonderful contractor with whom to work. He responded within 3 minutes, expressing a desire to learn more of my project and offering a phone number to call. I called so we could arrange for a rapid meeting and I let him know of the previous disappointments I had experienced with several other contractors (one kept me waiting for 3 MONTHS without even a quote and we lost the time to plant this fall). When Oscar arrived, I showed him the property, we spoke in detail of what I needed, he asked questions, and he gave me a verbal quote on the spot, which I immediately accepted, as it was all inclusive, lower in price but very much in line with other estimates received (not so low as to be unbelievable, yet extremely reasonable). There was a small delay getting started, but once scheduled, he and his crew(s) arrived on time and jumped right in tearing down an old porch, a rotting, wood pole knee wall, and dismantling an unused bird bath/pond, then reconstructing the porch – it’s GORGEOUS!! They arrived when promised each of the following 3 days and restored the look of my property while doing some backbreaking work for me re-grading the land to fix drainage issues, installing some fill dirt, topsoil, LOADS of mulch and planting the 4 little trees I purchased (I know just how hard this project is because between 25-30 years ago, I alone created all the gardens, 3 planting beds, brought builder-installed sod to golf-course beauty, and installed more than 12 trees and many other plants on property with a 40 degree slope – yikes!). I introduced Oscar to the Edge Right metal edging system, which I purchased and they installed. I believe he may be a convert. LOL Over time, a few things changed and I requested some extra tasks, for each of which I offered to pay. Everyone was friendly, respectful, would not let me help with even minor things, and treated me as if I were their own granny – lovely people. We still have a couple of minor things to finish up with, depending on delivery of previously negotiated items and Spring for the plantings, but Oscar will come back to finish them as soon as I call. I am SO glad I chose Michapa Design LLC and I very highly recommend this company, Oscar and all his crew for whatever you need.
