“I discovered my passion for photography during my junior year of high school. For some reason, whenever I picked up a camera, I felt all the stress from the world melt off my shoulders and would find peace in the sound of my camera firing off photos. I knew photography was my passion when another photographer had taken photos for my birthday and I was brought to tears when I saw my family together, and happy. Danny was very professional throughout the entire process. He messaged me the day prior to make sure I knew where and what time we were meeting. He also gave helpful tips about parking in Old Town, Alexandria. I had 2 boy toddlers with me (which can be challenging) and he was able to catch their attention each time. He had green googly eyes hanging from his neck which helped them to know where to look. He also had great suggestions on how to pose such as “hold both of their hands, cross your ankles etc”. He knew all the spots to take us to in Old Town and made the entire process seamless. I also appreciate that he asked if there were any specific sites or poses that I wanted to do. I would recommend him for all moms/kids/family photoshoots!
