My roof was aged and weathered and required some attention. Peter came and walked me through all the issues, step-by-step, and what he was going to do to fix them.
When his team arrived, they were very thorough and professional. The work was done quickly and at a reasonable price (I had a friend who works on commercial buildings and he confirmed the work that needed to be done and that Peter's price was fair and reasonable).
I think my favorite thing was that Peter took photos before the repairs and after. This gave me peace of mind knowing what was completed (since roofing isn't my expertise). It was fantastic to see the transformation that Peter's team did to the roof.
I fully recommend Chesapeake Builders. They are professional, timely, and offer reasonable pricing for the great work they do.

Excellent Customer services and reasonably priced. Peter and his crew was able to replace my entire roof and front porch within 3 days. They were timely and the overall price excellent. Highly recommend if you are looking for an honest roofer

I had a roof replacement with Peter Canales at Chesapeake. The experience from the moment I met him was outstanding. On the day if the job, he was on time and the workers were about their profession. During the course of the project I received pictures and a video at the end. I am more than impressed and will recommend him to others.

Peter and his team did an outstanding job replacing the roof and chimney on our new home. This house had four layers of old shingles, with the first layer being original to the house when it was built in the 1940s! They worked quickly and neatly, we did not find a single nail or scrap on the lawn when the roof was completed. Not only did Chesapeake Builders do a great cost effective job, they did so under incredibly complicated circumstances. We were purchasing this home that needed the roof, chimney and back staircase replaced. All these items had to be fixed before closing and Peter was able to do so without any problems. Peters professionalism never faltered in dealing with endless requests from various real estate actors, and he got us a brand new roof and chimney in under a weeks time. He never pressured us once into making more repairs than we requested, and trust me the house needs work. Peter has done some incredibly sophisticated work on other homes in the DC area and I highly recommend this company for home repairs.
