- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Initial consultation is $150, flat fee pricing after depending on the type of case. I try to meet clients in a mutually convenient location especially the first time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent over a decade working as an immigration officer for the Department of Homeland Security. Before that, I appeared in federal court on behalf of the government in immigration matters. I also worked at a national nonprofit with a focus on services to children.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Provide all information you can at the beginning. It is difficult to determine what needs to be done without knowing history both personally and legally. A common issue I see with customer requests is they say "need help getting a green card /work authorization." Without knowing anything more like how you think you are eligible, it's difficult to know whether we can help. You need to be comfortable with your attorney personally as well as with their experience.
