**If you're interested in registering your child for monthly group tutoring sessions, Students, grades 6-12, will meet to share their academic goals, success, and challenges. Students will have the opportunity to learn from the perspectives of their peers, as well as gain insight from tips and feedback that I provide each of them. There will be an opportunity for students to receive basic feedback on work. There are limited seats available. Sessions will be held on Friday evenings at a rate of $30 per hour per student.

Hello! Welcome to Kirstyn’s Tutoring Services. My name is Kirstyn, and I’ve been a tutor since 2015. I have two bachelor’s degrees and a master’s degree, making it possible for me to help others achieve their academic and professional goals. I’ve tutored people of all ages, from kindergarteners learning to write sentences to adults seeking to improve their writing skills to help further their careers.
Services:
- Tutoring: English Language Arts, Social Sciences, reading, writing, SAT prep, homework help, study skills
- Computer lessons: Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel, Gmail, Outlook, and general use of the computer
- College counseling: preparing for college, understanding the admissions process, selecting a college, developing application essays
- Editing: resume editing, thorough copyediting/proofreading of documents
- Other: interview prep, cover letter templates
Rates (resume editing and copyediting/proofreading services are excluded from the first-time client discount):
- Remote tutoring and computer lessons: $50 per hour per student.
- Remote resume editing: $80 per resume; optional cover letter templates are an additional $50. If clients need the edited resume returned in less than three days, a $20 rush fee will be applied. Optional interview prep is an additional $40/hr.
- Remote copyediting/proofreading: $60 per page for thorough copyediting and proofreading. Maximum request of five pages single-spaced in 11-12pt. font. Clients must allow one week for the edited document to be returned or agree to pay a rush fee of $20 per page.
- Remote college admissions counseling: $200 per hour per student.
Payment process:
Clients must pay a 50% deposit to secure the date/delivery of the service. Clients will receive an invoice to their preferred phone number or email address. Clients will receive automatic payment reminders. This is performed through a secure service. Payments are accepted through this service only.
