My experience with Genesis was absolutely fantastic! I enlisted their expertise to install mirrored closet doors in my bedroom. Unfortunately, the doors I had previously purchased didn’t quite fit the existing openings. However, Andy and his team were quick to offer several solutions to address the issue. The final result surpassed my expectations by far. While I had consulted with two other companies, their proposed fixes seemed hastily put together, lacking consideration for the overall design of my space. In contrast, Andy not only presented a solution but also followed up the next day with an even better alternative! I truly admire Genesis’ thoughtful approach and their commitment to delivering the best possible outcome. What’s more, without any prompting, their team went the extra mile by covering my bed and furniture to shield them from dust. Now, that’s what I call attention to detail! I wholeheartedly endorse this company and look forward to working with them again in the future.

I am so thankful that Thumbtack connected me to Genesis Handyman. I didn't know how best to communicate the scope of work to install a lighted mirror in a bathroom. They were able to be flexible on the fly to address anything from helping me return a mirror had it arrived broken, to unknown electrician requirements, to medicine chest removal, if needed. When the job was complete, a weight was lifted off my shoulders because this mirror replacement with unknown requirement scope was a to do task over the past 5 months.
Also, I incorrectly selected the wrong date for work. They were able to accommodate for this and include my job.
Over the whole job, I was kept informed on what needed to be done and why. This transparency brought me comfort that they knew what needed to be done and had the experience to do this work efficiently.
Overall, I am grateful and relieved I was able to work with this company.

I contacted Genesis to install three smart locks and a security light. I had not used them previously, but I hired Genesis because they had outstanding customer ratings, as well as competitive prices.
Although, my appointment time was between 11-1 pm. I received a courtesy call that morning to let me know he'd arrive closer to the 11am. I appreciated that because I could plan the rest of my day more precisely.
My handyman, Andy, was knowledgeable and familiar with the equipment I wanted installed, so everything went seamlessly. I have several other home improvement projects in the near future, and I will definitely hire Genesis again for all the reasons I mentioned above.

Genesis did an excellent job with patching the wall and installing my towel bar in the bathroom. He even went an extra mile by painting and smoothing the wall where the toilet paper holder was. Very professional I will definitely recommend and call for future projects.
