Introduction: Hello!
My name is Hexing Xiao, currently a doctoral candidate in piano at Peabody. I have taught piano in the greater Baltimore area for over 5 years, at afterschool programs, music academies, Peabody Preparatory, UMBC, and Harford Community College. I offer piano lessons in the Towson/Timonium area through a partnership with Cockeysville Music Education Center, a place administered by a group of co-op teachers. I teach students of all ages and levels.

Hexing taught me my first ever piano lessons. As an adult learner, I appreciated him tailoring lessons to current interests and introducing music theory as well in an enjoyable way. I really feel that I have a strong foundation for reading music, form, and method for continuing my practice.
