Anne Colmus 1 starThis was the worst spring clean up I ever got from any company in over 10 years. Feeling sorry for Justin because he delivered food to my home for a carry-out he works part-time for, and he handed me his business card, asking if I needed anything done. After persistently being pestered by him for work, I contacted him and asked for an estimate. After accepting the estimate, getting him to do the work was another headache---he blamed prior customers for adding on things to their job at the last minute, blown transmissions on trucks, and on and on. Finally he and Keith showed up with another young man. They started out ok but then took off during the job leaving just two young helpers by themselves. At the end of the day they broke an expensive bird feeder and even after being told I wanted it replaced, I am still without the replacement. Having had great landscapers in the past, who have degrees in the field and know how to create a crisp clean edge around a tree after pulling out weeds, I am so sorry I hired these guys. They hacked bushes instead of trimming in the proper manner and also wound up killing some shrubs because they hacked them to the ground. Instead of pulling weeds and then mulching, they rushed to get done and simply covered the old mulch, weeds and last year's debris with mulch to hide everything until they left. They refused to obtain receipts showing how much mulch they purchased and where because we wanted pet safe mulch and paid for it. Even after requesting multiple times for the receipt, they won't produce it. I have multiple pictures showing this worthless job and I have made a complaint with the Attorney General's Office as well as Visa who has collected the pictures of their finished product, the broken bird feeder as well as a detailed complaint. As well, I have submitted all the text messages and emails where they were immediately made aware of the horrible job they did and promised to come back as well as pay for the bird feeder. My property looks like a child did it with a plastic bucket and shovel -- but surely not a professional job in any way. I will be hiring another company to do the job correctly once the BBB gives me the okay after my job is seen and documented in their file. These guys should stick to laying mulch in strip malls and gas stations cause they have no clue about residential property, other than maybe cutting grass, but I would stand there and watch them like a hawk and put anything expensive or breakable out of their reach. about 2 months ago · 2 Reviews ·

Land Escape replaced our failing wood retaining wall with one made of block. The existing wall was 165' long and 5' high at its peak. They also used the same block to frame our gravel parking pad & flagpoles, and replaced a smaller, stone retaining wall that joined the flag area. Additionally, they sealed the driveway; planted over 1000 plugs of ground cover; leveled a small area along the driveway and planted shrubs; replaced mortar between our Butlerstone; and created a stacked stone garden area for our flowers. The men worked hard all day without breaks, and only stopped when it got too dark. Often they worked weekends too. The outcome is beautiful and professional, for a very reasonable price! We will use them again and highly recommend them.

Land Escape was able to help with all of our lawn care needs. They not only performed weekly/biweekly lawn mowing but did an exceptional job when we needed our large Silver Maples trimmed. Were very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions I had.
