Jeff was punctual, professional, and patient. He was able to complete my project on time, on budget, even when we ran into multiple obstacles. My project was for Jeff to complete all electrical work involved in moving my Kitchen to a new location, add multiple ceiling lights, and prepare my house for an upgrade in service. We ran into block walls that would not fit boxes, an extremely tight crawl space, some very difficult to navigate wire fishing and some extremely old wire. Despite all of this we still finished on budget and on time. Not only will I use Jeff again for upcoming work, but I will highly recommend him to my friends, family and anyone reading this review! Thanks again Jeff, Brennen D.

We could not have been more impressed by Jeff from Smooth Electrical. Excellent, courteous and prompt service (he even showed up early for the appointment!) at an extremely fair price. He answered all my questions about specific brands of lighting and fans that he would recommend. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Baltimore metro area needing electrical work.

Jeffrey was prompt with the estimate and fair in pricing and discussed the options we had with the job to be done. I will defiantly use him again

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

A master electrician is required to do continuing education to remain licensed. On top of that, I attend courses in areas other than the code to stay up to par on new technology.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was once a helper for a flooring installer years ago. My boss at the time asked me to remove a floor outlet to allow us to cut in the floor. I was shocked by the outlet and I said "how can anyone be an electrician?" Before I knew, being eager to learn, I started my electrical apprenticeship.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

This profession requires a lot of thorough training to understand how and why things work. We electricians everyday need to look back in our code books to remind us of the ever-changing codes we are required to follow, so please bare with us :)
