- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge based on how long a move actually takes. Our estimates are based on the information given by our customers. (inventory, locations, etc.) Packing materials used are an additional charge. (Moving blankets free to use) Any piece over 200lbs could have a heavy item fee. No additional charges for disassembly/reassembly, first 3 flights of stairs and long carries. No credit card fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we gather a inventory of the items to be moved and then we give the quote. If the customer chooses to use us for their move, we take a $50 non-refundable deposit via card to secure their move date and time. Any remaining balance is due upon delivery on the day of their move.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our workers are professional movers who do this every day for a living. We do not hire day laborers. Our guys have been working in the moving business for many years.
