In Washington, DC, there are a lot of unprofessional and unskilled contractors. Jose is not one of them. Jose is a gem in this community - very professional, got the job done quickly, complied with DC law and cleaned after his work! I highly recommend Jose in the area of carpentry and woodworking. We hired Jose to repair a 20+yo set of French doors which were drafty and not closing well. Replacing doors would have been a $5K cost; two other people "weren't sure" anything short of replacement would help. Jose came over to look at the door, pointed out the issues, made suggestions for improvement, and gave us a written quote for $295. We hired him; the door is airtight now and the work quality is excellent. He showed up on time, didn't go over the quoted price, kept us informed and didn't leave a mess. We've now hired him to work on another door. Highly recommend him. Professional, honest and easy to deal with..

I visit the home or business. Discuss the project with the Customer. I assess the work based on my expertise and then provide the Customer with a quote to do the work within 48 hours.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Father was a carpenter and taught me the basics at an early age. I went on to work for his business after high school until I started my own company.
