Introduction: Since obtaining my counseling license in 2004, I have enjoyed assisting individuals and couples in decreasing their stress and discontent, and in finding long-lasting tools to maintain a healthy mood and positive outlook on life. I have previously worked with clients in residential treatment centers as well as those involved in the legal system and these experiences have demonstrated the importance of seeking help before our feelings lead us to harmful decisions. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am in-network with Cigna and Blue Cross Blue Shield/Carefirst and I work with other insurance companies as an out-of-network provider. For clients not wanting to use their insurance benefits, 50-minute sessions for individuals and couples are $130.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
30-minute, face-to-face consultations are available at no cost. This often provides an opportunity for you to ask questions about the counseling process and make an informed decision about continuing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in practice since completing my Master's degree in Psychology in 2001 and becoming licensed in 2004. I regularly attend conferences and trainings in my areas of specialty.
