Brandon and his entire team at Smart Home Rebuild are fantastic. I have worked with many professionals on Thumbtack, some of whom are very good but Brandon is the best. I really value my time so the length of this review should be a testament to how satisfied I am with my experience working with him. He is very responsive and from our first communication has been available and ready to communicate regardless of when I've contacted him. I first hired him for a general roof inspection and have since worked with him on two more projects and could not be happier with the results. He is very meticulous and has great attention to detail. For the roof inspection he arrived on time and took pictures of everything that may have needed fixing. This is one of my favorite things he does. When the job is complete he also takes after photos. He surveyed the entire roof and then took the time to review the photos with me. He was more than fair with his pricing and was able to complete the job efficiently and in advance of his estimated time. He provided a detailed breakdown of the cost of the materials as well as the labor. With other professionals I have had to be the one to ask for breakdowns but Brandon does this upfront and I really appreciate it. He takes the time to walk through all of the repairs both in person (for what is accessible) as well as with before/after photos (for things like roof repairs where I would have difficulty accessing it myself). In total he completed the following repairs, all of which were extremely impressive: 1. Cleaned, serviced, and resealed all gutters. Also fixed all of our downspouts including reattaching them to the walls and securing any plastic extensions. In three areas of our multilevel roof the higher downspouts were emptying onto the lower roof and extensions were placed. Again, because Brandon is someone who sees the whole picture, he was able to pain and match these extensions to blend them beautifully with our existing downspouts and any other exterior paint/trim we’ve had. Our AC unit from the attic has a pipe that was leaking to the outside and this was repaired too. 2. He added a much needed cover to our chimney and then sealed the chimney as well as other areas that needed to be sealed like our soffits. He sealed the awning we had above our front door. There were multiple other areas that needed to be addressed and he took care of all of them. 3. Our pest control person had shown us multiple areas from which creatures could be entering the home and Brandon repaired all of these and again was able to match them exactly to what the exterior of our home was. I can’t tell where he did any of the repairs, that’s how good him and his team are. Because of that wonderful first experience, I hired him again for a larger job that involved sealing and painting all 32 of our windows. He provided a very fair estimate and again was able to over deliver on what he told me to expect in terms of time for the job. The estimate he gave was for 25 windows and when it turned out that there were actually more than that, he did not raise his quoted price and completed the job. This is the kind of truly honest and diligent person you get when you hire Smart Home Rebuild. Every time I drive up to my home I really notice how nice and new the windows look. Needless to say when I again was in need of a repair, I hired him. Our all glass sun room had been leaking in heavy rain. I have spent almost two months trying to find someone to repair it and have had multiple people come and go without having hired someone. I asked Brandon about it and again he took before photos, went through his plan for the repair with me and answered every question I might have before/during/after the process. He took the time to test the repairs with me and again walked around the property detailing and explaining everything. Him and his guys were also able to fix the dual sliding doors for the room as well as place new screens for the screen doors. It feels like a totally new room after the work they did. I’m in awe of how good they are. He stands by his work and has told me if there’s any issue with anything that I can contact him anytime. He is the best out there. Plain and simple. Do yourself a favor and hire him for any and all of your needs. You won’t regret it.

Orlando was very professional and gave accurate estimate with details of work for fixing my townhouse sidings that fell off during a storm. He was available to work the very next day to avoid further water damages. He even inspected my roof at a reduced rate as he was already up there to fix the sidings. Will wholeheartedly recommend MJ Renovations for siding and roof work.

Brandon came out to look at my roof and was on time. He was very honest about his assessment of the roof and the maintenance repairs that were needed.
