Our experience was beyond words. He truly listened to our wishes kept us on track and had the whole family moving, dj prez was super personable and understanding of what we wanted for our special day. I will use him for all our gatherings and when we do our vow renewal party he is my first call!

We had the pleasure of using DJ Prez for my 40th birthday house party. From our initial contact to the actual event, he provided optimal customer support and professionalism. Leading up to the big day, he got a feel for my music preference and incorporated my favs into the event. On the day of, he arrived early to set up and engaged with guests as they arrived. He kept the party going so much so that I had to take the next day to recover LOL. If you are in search for a DJ in the DMV, look no further than DJ Prez. Thanks for a memorable party!

There are several fabulous ways to describe the one & ONLY DJ Prez. But the one that comes to top of mind is DOPE!!!! DJ Prez is hands down THEEEEE DOPEST DJ!!! He was spinning hits from the 70's, 80's 90's and now for our housewarming and folks kept saying they've never been to a housewarming like ours. He kept the party GOING! Everyone from my Mom and Mother-in-Law to my youngest cousin could not stop dancing. I HIGHLY recommend DJ Prez for any event that requires a DJ. My Mother-in-Law recently hired him to DJ at she & her husband's retirement party and he turned the party OUT! Regarding cost, professionalism & responsiveness, DJ Prez hits the nail on the head. His price/hour is in-line with other local DJs. He is very responsive via text and is all the way professional...and fun. All-in-all, I give him a 5 out of 5Star rating. -Mrs. JB

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After interest in my services is established, I schedule a phone or video conference where I introduce myself, explain my capabilities and ask a series of questions that allows both myself and the client to build the type of experience they truly desire. This call typically lasts 30 minutes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No formal training but an awesome ear for music and timing.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always wanted to DJ since I was young. I just had to wait until I was established enough to purchase all the equipment on my own and had more control over my time. I have been dj'ing now for 5 years.
