Independent Tutor
Introduction: I am a Maryland based independent tutor. I have been in the education field for over 20 years. I have worked with kids from all ages and developmental levels. I've got a degree in special education/elementary education with experience working in a variety of settings and various disabilities/non-disabilities.
I have been an independent tutor for over four years. I enjoy helping all age groups learn new things as well as be successful.

Ms. Heim has been tutoring my daughter for three years. My daughter had no confidence and was severely struggling with her grads in school. At this time, my daughter's confidence is back, she is doing great in school and receives study skills help from Ms. Heim.
Ms. Heim takes the time to get to know the student so she can better help them. She goes above and beyond to make sure my daughter is successful. We have appreciated all her help and continued support.

Ms. Heim does amazing work with helping students bring their grades up. My daughter was failing most of her classes and she has brought her grades up to where she is passing them. Ms. Heim has shown my daughter study skills as well as how to stay organized. She continues to work with my daughter on any struggles she has with her school work. Very impressed with Ms. Heim's professionalism and hard work to help her clients be successful
