Introduction: Please please remember that vendors have to pay per quote even if you are just shopping for price. Please either email or text me. You can access my email from my website: looksbylina. My contact information is included in my profile. Also, I have a minimum of $350 for services which doesn't include the trial ($100-150 for hair, $100 for makeup). Bridal Hair prices start at $100 for the bride and $70 for any of the bridal party. Makeup with lashes prices are $170 for the bride and $100 for any of the bridal party. I am located in Waldorf, MD and will travel anywhere in the DC, MD, VA parts of DE and NC. My travel fees are $20 per hour drive each way from 20602 or a hotel room in lieu of travel fees. Due to COVID, I have instituted a lengthy sanitation protocol to protect not only my clients but also my team: Each artist will wash her hands prior to working on clients. Each client will have her own separately wrapped set of brushes. These brushes would have been cleaned and sanitized prior to the event. Six feet between each client. No one is to roam around the artist's stations if they aren't getting any service. Service will not be performed on anyone who is having a temperature, coughing and or sneezing unless it is allergies. Makeup station should be separate from the hair station; i.e. makeup will be applied in a separate room. Bathrooms are not to be used for services. I would recommend that each client bring her own unopened mascara. I like Loreal Lash Paradise water proof mascara. We always use disposable mascara wands if the client doesn't wish to bring her own. Any opened mascara will not be used. We will not use anyone's makeup, including lashes, unless it is discussed with Lina first. We will sanitize our stations in between clients so that would add more time per person. We will have a bin for used brushes. We would like to have the ventilation behind us if possible. We will be using 70% alcohol to sanitize our palettes. No one is to use 90% on any product as it evaporates faster with higher alcohol content. We will use silicone hand covering when applying foundation. Everyone will be wearing a level 3 mask with 3 layers including the clients. Limited chatting will be done between artist and clients. Use UV light to sanitize brushes. What sets me apart from other makeup artist is that you will receive a luxury skin care. I also use only pro products and help the bride relax and enjoy not only the trial but also her big day. I have experience with all skin complexions and hair textures. I enjoy enhancing my customers' features. I love seeing their reaction after I am done with their hair and/or makeup. I enjoy working with people.

Lina is amazing! I could have not imagined feeling more beautiful on my wedding day. I knew I liked Lina & was going to choose her the second we talked on the phone in April. When we went for my trial in June I was in love with my hair & makeup- little did I know on my actual wedding day Lina exceeded what I was originally in love with. Her assistant Camille did some of my bridal party's hair & makeup with the same exact quality & professionalism as Lina herself. What I was most impressed by with Lina is her dedication to fresh bridal makeup that still looks like YOU but enhanced- sometimes event makeup can get carried away and you lose all of your natural beauty. I liked how you could still see my actual skin minus blemishes & still be picture perfect. Lina was excellent and everyone's makeup looked so natural. I did not want my makeup to look heavily caked on and I wanted my face to match the rest of my body. Lina was able to accomplish everything I wanted.

I recently hired Lina to come to my home to do my hair and makeup prior to a business branding shoot. Lina contacted me immediately upon my inquiry when others did not respond nearly as quickly. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to find anyone to do my hair and makeup since I decided I wanted this service done a week before the shoot. Lina came to the rescue and was able to accommodate me on the date I needed! The night before the services, she called and made sure she had all of the supplies she needed to create the look I wanted. This was after I sent her inspiration photos so she could get a sense for what I was looking for. On the day of service, she arrived promptly at our scheduled time and got to work right away. She was very pleasant to work with, ensured that I was ready on time, and followed my inspiration photos exactly. For the quality of services Lina provided me, I felt that her pricing was extremely fair. I am so pleased with how my hair and makeup turned out and am SO happy with my new branding photos!   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Travel fees are $20 per hour drive each way from 20602. Makeup packages include trial and fake lashes for the bride. Hair fees range from $55-$125 depending on the intricacy of the hair style I am certified for lash extensions. Please email for rates.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I highly recommend a trial. The customer is involved every step of the way. I take photos to show how the make would look in pictures. The trial takes between 2-3 hours (hair and makeup take about 3 hours) during which I will be taking notes so that on the day of the event, I move quicker. A week before the event, I will send the customer a schedule so we can stick to the timeline.
