Responsive and on time but too pricey.Aug 17, 2018Verified
I wrote a previous review for the company but I have spoken with them since and have decided to amend my review. Thumbtack does not allow users to delete or modify prior reviews more than once so that is why I needed to start a new one. I wanted to say that I felt the company did a very good job with coming out quickly and being on time. The owner of the company came himself and did good work. At first, I was not too happy about the price because it was all happening very fast and it seemed like a high price to pay for the fix. After doing some research and realizing how close I came to even worse disaster, I believe the price was more fair then I originally believed. First of all, we had record rainfall the next 3 days after the fix was done. If Rem had not come out so quickly to fix the problem, I would of almost definitely of had a flooded basement. That would have cost thousands to fix. Second, I did not make mention that he had to do work outside the house as well going through the wall to replace the bad pipe. I think that I underestimated how difficult it was to get in there and properly fix the issue. It was not just about replacing a pipe but knowing how to properly do it in the corner of the basement and seal it up correctly. Even if the price was slightly more than another plumper, they still got the job done promptly and Rem was very friendly. I think it is worth considering them for other jobs and they even gave me a good quote for fixing the damaged drywall and adding a check valve to my sump pump. I was unaware that my sump pump was even missing a check valve. Apparently, that is standard code now and my pump was installed prior to that update. Please reconsider my past review and give 24/7 a chance. I think you will be happy.Jul 26, 2017Verified
The quote we received was too much for the job we needed. We wanted to remove and replace the shower arm thinking that the task required plumbing expertise but turned out to be a very simple task. All we had to do was to remove a bolt using a ranch but were charged $175 for that. It might be reasonable considering the travel expenses and the time the plumber had to spend on the requested job. However, when paying that much for such a simple job, you at least expect the job to be done professionally. No, look at the part that is attached to the wall. It should be sealed properly so water does not penetrate inside the wall. We are not satisfied with the service received.Jun 19, 2017VerifiedSang P.'s reply
I am sorry for the dissatisfaction, and if you cal;l us today we can schedule to come and seal that to the wall for you. Thanks, Shannon.
Good installation of my dishwasher. Very low price transparency up front. Ended up costing $350, but felt he earned each dollar of it.Aug 14, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We will beat any written Quote We do give discounts We offer financing We do not Charge after hour rates or even Holiday NO COMPLICATIONS HERE!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Of course, need to stay up on the codes
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Started out as just a Home Improvement company but knew plumbing work and then saw how customers were stuck paying high rates by some companies and decided it was time for that to stop, plus no computer can ever take the place of a plumber LOL.
