Introduction: We provide private swimming and boating lessons. Since this is individualized or in a small group, we meet the students where they are in the education process, and build from there. Many adults do not want to be in with children, and so we do not do this! Many adults have a fear of the water and lack basic survival skills. We set goals to eliminate or reduce the fear, and change the water into a fun area to be in. I have been trained as a water safety instructor (WSI). I have been teaching swimming for over 30 years. I have also taught swimming at a college. Furthermore, I have been certified as a boat captain with the US Coast Guard.
