- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge $300 per hour plus Maine State Tax of 5.5%. If photographs are to be delivered out of the state of Maine, no tax is charged. Commercial Photography is charged by specific job requirements and photo usage. Families may incur additional charges for more than 6 individuals, especially if small children and pets are involved. I may request a small add-on when travelling more than an hour from Auburn, Maine.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I enjoy taking the time to discuss each client's specific needs, interests, and vision before a photo session. Every person, family, or project is unique, and I believe the best photographs come from understanding what matters most to my clients. By tailoring each session to their individual goals and desires, I can create images that are both meaningful and personal, resulting in photographs that capture not just a moment, but a story.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend seminars, and lectures from leaders in the field. Being a member of the Professional Photographers of America, affords me the opportunity of continuing to learn from their library of videos and instructional material, as well as their annual convention.
