Introduction: I provide local in-office or in-home licensed massage therapy services. 'Local' travel is limited to the greater Portland area, or Southern Maine area only. For service outside of local areas, do inquire. Some of the massage modalities I practice include Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, aromatherapy, and pregnancy massages. I'm also a certified polarity therapist but am not currently practicing it. I now mainly focus on deep tissue therapy but could also work in some energy therapy sessions. I've been licensed since July 2000 and have 14 years of experience in massage therapy. I also have a lot of experience with Parkinson's disease. I have a background in the medical field; I love to help people and assist them in becoming healthier and less stressed. I'm professional and ethical, and my services are therapeutic and family-oriented. No inappropriate behavior or remarks of any kind will be tolerated. My rates are as follows: * $100/75 mins (one hour and 15 mins) * $120/90 mins (one hour and and 30 mins) These rates include both travel time and costs such as gas, tolls, and parking. I charge over $100/hour for non-local. In-home therapy is only an option after a reference/background check is performed. This is done at my expense. I require that all new clients (or potential clients) be screened prior to my providing any therapy or services. I do this to help ensure that I practice therapy safely and in a safe environment. In-office therapy is also subject to screening of the company/site where the sessions will take place. In addition to screening new clientele, I also screen new companies (or potential companies and/or sites) in order to check on the safety of the location and parking and validate the identity of the company, its employees, etc. I will make prior arrangements with clients for screenings. Normally, it's as simple as a reference check! It takes very little time or expense and is done in accordance with confidentiality. There will be no burden on the client's (your) end.
