- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always participating in free online classes in education and audio production. It is important to be familiar with new trends and technologies.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After receiving guitar lessons for the majority of my life it only seemed natural to begin giving lessons. Film scoring came to me as a result of acquaintances who own a production company and I really began enjoying matching up music to visual media.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
While producing music for a film or commercial, I go through three stages of production. I first mark points in the video that I really want to highlight and then compose around those key moments. Next is recording and production where I can create the sound of almost any imaginable instrument. I finally mix and master to optimize the sound quality and get it finalized for the visual production.
