First, what can you say about a carpenter who also happens to make delicious booze-laden chocolate truffles? Double winning! But that's another story.
I am extremely satisfied and impressed with the Jim Mingo Carpenter. I had a fairly simple project: build a shelving unit to cover a boarded-up window in my home recording studio. Jim replied to my Thumbtack post immediately, and the discussion began. Work was completed on time at the agreed upon price: no funny stuff or haggling. Jim showed up on time, was extremely professional in every way, and is a pleasant personality to deal with. And, oh by the way, the shelving unit is beautiful! (And the truffles!!!)
I recommend Jim Mingo Carpenter without hesitation, and I will be hiring him again in the near future.

I hired Jim to do wood work in 2 rooms including door frames and window molding, he was very efficient, knowledgable and did a great job, I highly recommend him for your carpentry needs, I will hire him again for future projects without hesitation.

We hired Jim to do some framing work as part of a full house renovation project. His estimate for time and materials was accurate. He was professional, courteous, on time and on budget. His rates are fair and his work is outstanding. We will definitely hire Jim for other projects in the future.
