Introduction: There are so many people these days, young and old, who claim themselves to be artists, yet their talent begs to differ. With training, experience, and an open mind I am confident that my talent is worth seeing and believe that I have the proper mind to execute the artistic task at hand. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Like many other artists they may say that price varies. Depending on the medium there is an hourly rate. acrylic (25$ per hour) pencil/coal/pastel (20$ per hour) Original pieces have a flat price. Mural pricing tends to be more tuned to the customer.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Locals who saw my artwork would be quite impressed and once word spread, people began to commission paintings from me.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Fine art takes a lot of time, concentration to detail, and understanding your own talented hand. When a piece is commissioned, the focus is to execute the painting as directed by the customer while keeping your aesthetic present.
