Introduction: Being a licensed esthetician and massage therapist - I incorporate massage therapy into my time spent with the animals I care for. Which is exceptionally beneficial to older animals .
We are located in Naples on Big Sebago Cove. We are A Home away from Home ~ or as many of our clients refer to it as K9 Camp !
With 24/7 attention they get to come and have the entire home at their disposal just as they would normally.
There are a few things we ask First ~ After our initial " Meet 'n Greet " ( which is included meaning:no charge to travel to you~ we prefer to have your babe in 'fur'miliar surroundings when they first meet us )- covid precautions are addressed during this time - { further detail below } Travel time and dates ~ *we understand unforseen delays can happen on 'pick up times' - that can be disgusted at MnG - We are a cage and kennel free home- unless your babe prefers to sleep in one. Then you would need to provide theirs. We have two bedrooms,chairs and couches for their comfort, especially if you have multiple dogs but they are welcome to snuggle with us at night. Charlie takes the downstairs bedroom at these times to provide plenty of snuggle room or if a late night pee arises. *covid precautions - we are only taking multiple dogs from the same home at this time }
2 - That they be current on all their shots and most especially heart worm and tic meds since we are at the lake with ample wooded trails. This is an absolute must.
3-medications with instructions (obviously )
4-Their specific food(we always have extra if anyone runs out)let us know of any allergies.
Toys- leashes- command collars- { we also have these if they are forgotten } extra doggy bags(if there is such thing) - *covid precautions: we ask at this time that no blankies be brought, we have plenty - but if attire is brought( vests, sweaters,pajamas- yes and they are adorable💕-sweaters for winter walks- that they simply be freshly washed or santized.)
SUMMERTIME !~We are in a delightful association with just a short walk to the beach ( we have a golf cart - or van for older pups )with swimming and pkaying ball or frisbee.
WINTERTIME ! ~ Snow travels thru the trails are all the exercise theyll need.. Always follwed by a doggy rub down after - additional/specific attention can be requested for older dogs at no extra charge 💕
Fall/winter months- if you want them to go for trail walks we ask you provide an orange vest, kerchief or glow collar - we have' some' but not for ALL sizes.
For summer visits -there are the occasional fireworks set off all summer long- please advise us as too how well they handle this and if a Benadryl is ok to take - SPEAK TO YOUR VET.
5- Your vet- please have a written concent form that 'goodness forbid' a medical emergency arise -( who knows- bee allergy?) we have permission to bring them in and if you can not be reached- advised on how to treat. Basically a 'Doggy Directive'.
WE WANT TO INSURE YOU : ALL precautions are being taken during this time- even tho dogs can not transmit covid- no"used" toys are in the toybox,all linens are washed, the household (chairs, beds,rugs are sanitized between visits) the yard is checked for any feces, and dog park visits are prohibited for the time being...But there's still PLENTY of attention and activities to be had!
To sum it up~ your babe(s) would have 24/7 attention, regular activities would include hikes along the trails-scenic car ride adventures if the weather isnt cooperating- playing ball on the beach - chasing the many chipmunks thru the rock walls- playing 'sniff my but' with the neighborhood dogs - ( limited contact during covid precautions) monitary education if requested- long (slow)leisurely boat rides on Big Sebago-and watching the sunset over the Causeway. After dinner they would get a snuggle rub down- or further arthritic attention can requested as well. Almost makes you want to stay here huh ?😁
Then its off to doggy dreamland🐕💕
VALET SERVICE IS AVAIABLE FOR MANY WITH IN REASON AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE~ JUST ASK AT OUR MEET'N GREET.
