- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a complicated pricing system... But... I feel e-mailing or posting my rates to be very impersonal.... I want to know who I am working with and what that person wants.... It's more than just the money to me... I genuinely care about the client. I may also need to charge a little more if there is travel involved or renting a location...So by posting my rates may cause confusion or inaccurate information.

It all starts with a phone call. I am big into communication.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided photography was for me the day I took some fun pictures of my friends and just handed them the pictures after they were developed.... They were images of my friends being silly... As I showed them the images...They broke out into laughter... I didn't have to say a word to them...It was such a great feeling to know...My pictures could bring out an emotion and I didn't have to say anything...To catch a moment in time and make somebody happy or sad is so powerful... I have never lost site of that and will never forget the day I walked through my high school and watched people look through their year books...I took 75% of the pictures in it and had so much pride in the feedback I received from people.
