- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing on Thumbtack is based upon our previous experience in a standard installation or repair. Any unexpected or unusual circumstances we will certainly be able to handle so there may be additional charges for time and materials. We strive to come up with reasonable and effective solutions after consulting with you. There may also be a one-way travel fee if your project is more than 25 miles away.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically after an initial phone conversation one of us will come to your location, or review photos, to ensure the project can be completed properly. Larger projects may require a 50% deposit either beforehand or upon arrival. Final payment is due after completion of your project.
