We had our 55” tv mounted above the fireplace in our living room. While doing the job they wanted to make sure the mount would be stable so they added a piece of wood to the mounting. I appreciate that thought was taken to provide the best quality installation possible. The look of everything was also taken into account so the final result was attractive and added to our design.

A representative was able to work with me on a time he’d otherwise be in Portland, ME to avoid paying the travel fee. In less than two hours he completed an assessment and repairs of four of our upstairs doors to fix hinges and adjust them to close correctly. A small project that makes a world of difference to have done!

I had old and broken windows and trim around one that was not complete. They did a great job and really paid attention to detail. They had to rebuild around the windows and ran into other snags of an old house and demonstrated great skill, professionalism and were very courteous and respectful. I would highly recommend Professional Home Projects for a large job or small and complicated like mine.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing on Thumbtack is based upon our previous experience in a standard installation or repair. Any unexpected or unusual circumstances we will certainly be able to handle so there may be additional charges for time and materials. We strive to come up with reasonable and effective solutions after consulting with you. There may also be a one-way travel fee if your project is more than 25 miles away.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically after an initial phone conversation one of us will come to your location, or review photos, to ensure the project can be completed properly. Larger projects may require a 50% deposit either beforehand or upon arrival. Final payment is due after completion of your project.
