Introduction: Offering our customers complete electrical contracting and electrical engineering services that allow us to design, build, install and maintain any electrical system is the key to a good contracting business. In more or less words, we offer complete, one-stop service for our customers. Most importantly, I sincerely believe that what makes our company different from most all other contractors and engineers is the care and compassion we put forth each and every day for each and every customer, no matter what the size of the job is. In addition to owning this business, I am an Electrical Inspector and Housing/Rental Inspector for several cities in the Downriver area so we know how to get things done correctly, safely and up to the current code. We specialize in all City Code Violations and Certificate of Occupancy electrical repairs. We know what to expect with most cities here in Wayne and Monroe Counties. When both myself and my husband had decided to take the big risk of going into business and scraping every single nickel we could find together so we could open our doors, we made a promise to one another that we will give our all to this venture and stick through the ups and downs of self employment. We have done such and we can proudly say that it has worked thus far for the last 20 years, and we will continue to strive for even better business success. Being fair, honest, caring and compassionate to our customers and working hard is the only big secret to owning a successful business. I believe helping people each and every day is the most most rewarding thing that you can ask for in business. Offering the customer the best service at an affordable rate trumps all other feelings. I have worked with Millennium Electrical for the past 10 years on many projects and several of my own at my home. The owner Sherry is a fantastic Electrical Engineer and also a sweet and caring business owner who will go out of her way to help their customers. Her hudband is the most skilled Electrician I have had the pleasure to work along side. He cares about their customers just as much. We have had Millennium Electric at our home several times. Most recently when our power went out and it was 0 degrees outside. They came out at 2 a.m. and hooked up a generator for us so we wouldn't freeze. They worked straight through the night and day replacing the circuit breaker box, the meter and all the other outside electrical stuff. We couldn't afford to have the whole job done at the time, but they set up payment arrangements for us. They run a great company and we will use them for good. Thanks guys :-)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We generally do not have a "Set Way" of pricing our services. Our goal is to give every customer the best and most fair price as possible using only the best materials required for the job. Our company labor rates are very affordable and have remained the same for the last 5 years. At times we use an hourly rate or an agreed upon amount with an estimate. We're not trying to get "rich" with our business and try to work with our customers. Everybody's circumstances are different and we take that into consideration. We would rather make less money and our customers call us again for any additional electrical service in the future. "Word Of Mouth" goes a lot further than a few extra dollars. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Debit Cards, Checks & Money Orders. Something else we offer that most Contractors don't is "In House Financing" or "Payment Plans." We completely understand that sometimes things go wrong at the worst times and money can be short. We will do our best to work with you to get your electrical system working properly & safely again. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Please contact us via telephone, website or email address through Thumbtack anytime. We are state licensed Master Electricians, bonded and insured full service Electrical Contracting & Engineering company. We provide highly skilled, trained & licensed Electricians & Electrical Engineers for residential, manufactured homes, commercial, machine tool, automation and all industrial electrical work. Our company is available 24/7 and 365 days a year with Emergency Service whenever you need help. We understand having electrical problems can be a big problem and nuisance, often being scary and nerve wracking at the same time and waiting can feel like forever. So, we will be there fast with the most affordable rates in Michigan. We accept Cash, Checks, Money Orders, Debit Cards, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We even offer In House Financing and Payment Plans on certain types of work. Bad credit & past bankruptcy is o.k. We look at the customer, not their credit history and checkbook. We understand things happen and sometimes it's the wrong timing and money is short.
