- How did you get started doing this type of work?
40 years ago, FUN SERVICES was a new national franchise. Created to assist schools with their carnivals by providing games and prizes. Then came the inflatable rides (bounce houses, slides, obstacle courses,). The corporate business wanted family entertainment for their picnics and Open Houses hence started the summer business. Families then enquired to have that FUN in their back yard so we added tents, tables, chairs, concessions to make the greatest Birthday parties possible at home, graduations, reunions.....and we continue to grow....
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We plan and execute events for schools Sept-June. We coordinate corporate events June-October and have a lot of rental (you come and get it) for private parties year round.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We have provided the family carnival for the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island for 20 years on the 4th of July weekend. Locally we work with most schools and churches as well as many corporations (Stryker, Bronson/Battle Creek Hospital, KCC, Fire Keepers Casino, Perrigo to name a few ...)
