These guys did an outstanding job cleaning up my front yard, which was over-grown with vegetation. They also trimmed up a large tree that was hanging over the roof of my house. I am thrilled with how the front of my house and yard look and will recommend Midwest Remodeling to everyone needing help with improving their curb appeal!

FRAUD. James Blackwell of Midwest Remodeling has a warrant issued for arrest in Indiana and Michigan for Fraud and Probation Violations. Unfortunately, I hired him with 50% money down through the Thumbtack introduction, before I saw the arrest warrant on http://www.michianacrimestoppers.com/wanteds.aspx. He started the work, earned our trust, got the job, and then disappeared. We are out the money and our trust is shaken. This was a hard lesson to learn.

FRAUD. Found contractor "James Blackwood" via Thumbtack, asked for 1/2 money down after coming out and quoting the job. Lied about future and past work, could not contact after giving money. Nothing was done.

All through college, my back ground was construction. I always enjoyed working with my hands. When I graduated with a bachelors in business I decided to put my knowledge and skills together to form a company. A company that I could be proud of. Integrity, honestly, and a great work ethic. A company that I would be proud of calling my own.
