I highly recommend Berkshire Meadows. It is obvious from the moment you meet Claudia and her husband that your pup will be kept in GREAT hands and be well cared for. We will definitely use their services again!!!Apr 17, 2017Verified
Wonderful place for your pets. When you're on vacation, they are too! Claudia treats your pets as if they were her own. She gives them lot's of loving, playtime, and is a calming influence to soothe any nervousness your dog may have at first. While I usually bring my own food, after Claudia showed me what she provides her food won hands down. I can see why she has so many repeat customers.Mar 23, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Typically a home visit to your house is $15-$18. This includes a 30-45 minute walk. If a dog is staying at the ranch we charge around $30-$35 per day. 2 small dogs are $40. 2 big dogs are $65.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically we set up a meet and greet and determine the client's needs. The meet and greet is a free process. I usually suggest that the dog comes to the house twice before he/she is actually boarded here. It makes for an easier transition for everyone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes, we always keep abreast of the latest trends...but when it comes down to it, you really just have to listen to the clients needs. Understand what their dog really requires. I have a Masters Degree in Archaeology from Wayne State, but never went for my PhD. I started the dog boarding business while putting myself through school....and I ended up enjoying taking care of dogs so much. I still do archaeology on the side, but the dog business is my primary vocation now.
