FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For a standard base rate, what I would call a Elopement or Budget wedding I ask for $250. It goes up from there, but so does the amount of time and energy I invest in you, your fiancée and your special day. Distance away also adds a bit to the cost to cover my travel and or expense to stay somewhere. For rehearsals I charge a base rate of $100, Distance may occur an addition cost. I do offer other services including counseling, bartending and rentals of somethings for weddings and I am happy to give a package discount on bookings for multiple services. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After I am contacted or have a lead on a new wedding I like to get to know the couple or family as much as possible. Some couples just want a hired Gun to do the wedding and go and that’s fine. Some want to get to know me and for me to know them and that not only makes it fun but helps me to provide the best service I can. My goal is to efficiently serve them and walk with them through the process of getting married, and have fun doing it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Associates in Business Administration, a Bachelors in Youth Ministry and Bible, a Masters in Divinity and a Certificate in Youth and Theology from Princeton. In addition to the Degrees I have also attended a number of seminars and workshops over the years as well as having much field experience and having done several internships. I am also TIPs certified for bartending. In my other ministry job I work as a Hospice Chaplain and I find that the training and time I have in working in that field really helps my work as a Wedding Service Provider. I have become very adept at being the calming and guiding presence during stressful but beautiful times at some of the most special moments in the lives of those whom I serve.
