I hired Denielle to teach my granddaughter to play the violin. During the first lesson, she requested I pay upfront for the month, I had no problem doing this as it would be easier on the both of us. After the second lesson, she needed to change the lesson night. Again, I had no problem with this and we decided on a different evening because she got a new job that would interfere with our initial lesson night. After finalizing an evening that worked for both of us, she never showed up for the third lesson and never called to cancel. I tried several times to get a hold of her that night to ask if she was still planning on the lesson or if there was a problem. She never contacted me back and left my 10 year old granddaughter waiting and wondering if she was coming for the lesson. I then tried on several occasions to contact her to request a refund the last 2 lessons I originally paid for upfront and never received. Again, she never returned any of my phone calls, text messages, or emails. I am so disappointed, she let my granddaughter down and never gave us the courtesy of calling or explaining. This shows such terrible character on her part!!

Hello Gil, I'm quite disappointed that felt it necessary to leave a 1 star review after I drive from GR to Rockford to meet you 2 months ago. I messaged you that I needed to reschedule and you never responded. I believe this is a miscommunication and I wish you would have given me a chance before slandering my reputation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We both charge $17/ half hour for students that come to us! The charge is $20/half hour if they would like us to come to them:) There are multiple-student discounts as well as complementary lessons for those who refer a new student!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love to have a trial lesson with any prospectice student (parents welcome:) ), so that we can not only meet in person, but also so the student and teacher can see it is a good fit! If the student has taken lessons previously, we love to hear what they wish to share, so that we can evaluate the level/curriculum would be the most beneficial and enjoyable!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
