FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I love working with children, since I have three of my own and understand that they don't hold still. Grabbing some gorgeous snippets during a romp at the playground is truly an art form and difficult to do. My goal is always to put the child first and allow them to lead the way through woods or over hills to their hearts desire. Once they get comfortable with me, they will allow me to enter into their world of play and that's where the magic is for a photo shoot. I always want mom or dad or a guardian to come along every step of the way and get to know the whole family. It's a wonderful afternoon playdate that I am happy to do again and again!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always check out a photographer's portfolio before hiring them. Every artist has a different style and as a customer, it's your responsibility to find the artist that fits your desired look. Many people settle for a photographer based on price and assume that they will change their art form to fit you. This is a big mistake and you will not be happy with the final outcome. Also, pick a professional who puts the customer first. You can know if they do if they are personable via your first encounter, wether that be on the phone, over facebook or in an e-mail. The professional should ask to meet with you before the shoot in order to get to know you better, answer any questions and put you at ease. Plus, this is a great time to fill out paper work and show your chosen artist any inspiration or photo ideas you may have for your shoot. Once you find a great photographer, stick with them and they will do right by you and serve you and your family for years to come with special deals and discounts for your continued business!
