- What types of customers have you worked with?
One of my clients I have had for 9 years- I let out the dogs when I get there and if need be I put them up when I leave, I have also done small amounts of dishes here and there. I do lots of extras outside of the regular cleaning which include helping with holiday decorating and taking down, cleaning out cupboards or fridges, basements, garages, special projects, yard work, etc.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I am probably one of the cheapest housekeepers out there. I do not charge by the hour I charge by the size of the home and number of rooms. For example - 2 story home with 4 bedrooms, 2-3 full baths and 1-2 powder rooms, kitchen, dining, family, living, office/den, laundry room- $120.00 per clean bi weekly. I also have a rotation system that I follow. Once a month each room gets a thorough deep cleaning which may include wiping of baseboards versus dusting them, hand wiping all nick knacks, perfume bottles, alarm clocks, etc. vacuuming under furniture and cushions. In kitchens all fronts of cupboards and drawers get wiped as well as all knobs and floor done on hands and knees. Also all light switch plates and door knobs.
