Megan is an excellent Medical Training coach.! I recently obtained my CPR/AED certification under her. The material was well explained and Megan's hands-on approach towards learning really helped the lessons stick! It is super important that these skills are learned. Who knows what kind of situation you could end up in that could result in you having to perform a lifesaving medical technique. I recommend anyone and everyone to take this class with Megan!!Feb 27, 2017

We had a group gathering at my house. Megan was an excellent instructor. We will definitely need her again and I look forward to having her teach us again. Thank you. Sheila.Mar 31, 2017Verified
Wow! Megan's program was so well organized! Her information was very educational and she kept it interesting. By the way, the class was up-to-date on the latest protocol. The class started promptly and finished on time. I plan to attend again when my BLS for Healthcare Providers expires.Mar 5, 2017ACT Fast Medical Training-MI's reply
Thank you very much Tony. It was a pleasure having you a part of my class. I also thank you for such a nice review, it is very much appreciated. I look forward to seeing you when you renew in two years.
"I found this to be an informative class. The instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable. She encourages questions and provides rationales for application of skill techniques and/or new guideline changes. Will recommend this class to family and friends." - DeannaMar 6, 2017ACT Fast Medical Training-MI's reply
Thank you Deanna, for your kind review. I love what I do. Having my students feel comfortable enough to ask questions throughout the course and leaving with a full understanding of high quality good CPR, is my number 1 goal. I look forward to seeing you in two years.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?A discount is offered for groups of 3+ people, when the course is taken together on the same day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been in healthcare for over 10 years. I first completed training in becoming an Emergency Medical Technician and then became a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. After 7 years of working in different specialty doctor offices, I was encouraged to become an American Heart Association CPR/First Aid instructor.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I have been in healthcare for over 10 years. I love what I do and I love being able to help train others what to do when faced with a real life emergency, no matter if you are in healthcare or not. I have a passion for working with people and making sure that you feel confident to ACT FAST when real life emergencies occur. I also offer renewals for those who have a current AHA BLS for healthcare providers certification. This is my passion as well as my full time career and I offer classes as much as possible for my students. Since I was a child, I have always had a passion for helping others. My mother, who is also an AHA instructor (24+ years) with another ACT FAST location in Illinois, who is in the medical field herself, as well as a teacher for different medical professions, has always encouraged me to be my best and to help others be their best as well. My goal is to make sure you have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to help ACT FAST and save a life, if and when needed.
