Introduction: I would like to introduce myself. My name is Yuka. I was born in Kyoto, Japan where I graduated from Doshisha Women Junior College. I also graduated from Mary Baldwin College in Virginia in the USA. I have lived in the US for 20 years. I am an experienced teacher who has taught Japanese to aspiring executives and upward mobile managers who want to increase their competencies in the Japanese language and culture.
I have been teaching Japanese for over 10 years. Many of my students enjoy my teaching style. I am very patient, yet I want students to learn the basics of Japanese quickly so that they can have success when they arrive in Japan. I incorporate fun games as well.
Japanese is not the easiest language to learn; however, I have found mixing fun with seriousness has helped my students learn the language quickly. I am very dependable and flexible. I know my students are very busy with tight schedules. I try to work with my students so that we can change our schedules if something comes up.
Overall, I am an upbeat and organized person. I enjoy preparing my students for the challenging Japanese language. I look forward to meeting you and offering you an opportunity to learn Japanese from a fun, yet serious person.
Konnichiwa. See you soon.
