FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Refer to my prices as listed. Repeating customers please ask for a discount. If you have a financial situation, please talk to me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Pre-session: After your lead with me is confirmed, and initial message chats, I prefer we talk over the phone to get to know each other, about the person(s) to be photographed, your expectations & style preferences, cost, props, location, duration, wardrobe, and other logistics. You will receive, sign and email back a document that reflects what we have agreed. You will pay $50 deposit for portrait photos or 25% deposit for event photos. Check out my website for refund policy. During the session: Once we are at the location, I'd like us to chat a bit. It is important to be comfortable and at ease with me and the equipment around. I can design poses if you need such guidance. Feel free to design your own poses and bring your favorite props. You will pay the remaining balance on the day of the photo session. Post-session: For non-wedding photos you will get digital files in about 1 week. Express service is available as an add-on, explicitly identified in the pre-session. The photos are downloadable in an online gallery accessible by you only. You are free to share with your friends and relatives. The photos will be deleted from the online album and my computer after 1 month.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We self-taught photography by doing over a decade. I also do videography, for which I was trained by New York Film Academy.
